Job Summary:

We are looking for a highly skilled Senior Software Engineer to join our engineering team. You will be responsible for the end-to-end delivery of scalable web applications, from designing intuitive front-end interfaces in React to architecting robust, type-safe back-end services using Node.js and TypeScript.

The ideal candidate is a product-minded engineer who enjoys solving complex technical challenges, optimizing database performance in PostgreSQL, and mentoring junior developers in a fast-paced, Agile environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Feature Development: Design and implement high-performance web applications using React (v18+) and Node.js.
• System Architecture: Lead decisions on application architecture, ensuring scalability, maintainability, and security.
• Database Management: Design complex PostgreSQL schemas, write optimized SQL queries, and manage data migrations using modern ORMs (e.g., Prisma, Drizzle, or TypeORM).
• API Design: Build and maintain RESTful (or GraphQL) APIs with a focus on type safety, error handling, and security (OAuth/JWT).
• Code Quality: Ensure high standards through rigorous code reviews, unit/integration testing (Jest, Vitest, Cypress), and TypeScript best practices.
• Collaboration: Work closely with Product Managers, UI/UX designers, and QA to translate business requirements into technical specifications.
• Performance Tuning: Identify and resolve bottlenecks across the stack, from front-end rendering to database query optimization.

Technical Requirements:

• Frontend: Expert-level proficiency in React (Hooks, Context API, state management libraries like Redux or Zustand) and TypeScript.
• Backend: Strong hands-on experience with Node.js (Express, NestJS, or Fastify).
• Database: Deep understanding of PostgreSQL, including relational modeling, indexing, and performance tuning.
• Infrastructure: Experience with Docker, CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI), and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
• Tools: Proficient with Git, modern build tools (Vite, Webpack), and AI-assisted development tools (GitHub Copilot, Cursor).
