Location: Columbia, SC Hybrid (3 days in office, 2 days remote).
Duration: 12+ Months Contract
Candidate Location: Candidate MUST be a SC resident or willing to relocate to SC prior to starting the role at their own expense.

Position Summary:
The South Carolina Department of Health & Human Services (SCDHHS) is seeking an experienced Quality Analyst to support Medicaid-related projects. This role involves leading testing efforts, ensuring software quality, and validating technical solutions for complex, large-scale systems.

Required Skills:
5+ years of experience in Quality Assurance / Software Testing 
3+ years translating business requirements into test cases and scenarios 
2+ years of experience with IBM Curam testing
Strong experience in test case creation, execution, and defect management 
Ability to communicate test results, issues, and risks clearly to stakeholders 
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Preferred Skills:

Experience with large enterprise or e-business systems 
Knowledge of Healthcare/Medicaid systems and business processes 
Experience with JIRA, Confluence (Atlassian tools)
Familiarity with both Agile and Waterfall (SDLC) methodologies

Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field
