Job Title: QA/Test Lead
Location: 1800 E Stassney Ln, Austin, TX 78744 (100% Onsite)
Duration: 6 Months with possible extension/hire

Role Summary
The QA/Test Lead will be responsible for planning and executing system, integration, and end-to-end testing activities for the TRIMS integration and Category Analysis solution. This role will ensure all testing activities are documented and tracked in Azure DevOps using the Behavior Driven Development (BDD) methodology.

Key Responsibilities
• Develop test scenarios and test cases using BDD and Gherkin syntax.
• Document testing artifacts within Azure DevOps work items.
• Execute integration, system, and end-to-end testing of data pipelines and Snowflake transformations.
• Coordinate defect tracking and resolution with development resources.
• Validate data outputs against expected results and legacy datasets.
• Support demonstration reviews and user acceptance validation with TxDOT stakeholders.
• Prepare testing documentation required for project acceptance.
• Support Hypercare monitoring and stabilization activities.

Minimum Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in software testing or QA management.
• Experience developing test cases, test scenarios, and test plans.
• Experience supporting data integration or data warehouse testing.
• Experience working within Agile testing environments.

Desired Qualifications:
• Experience documenting tests using BDD / Gherkin methodology.
• Experience using Azure DevOps test management tools.
• Experience validating data transformations and analytics outputs.
• Experience supporting public-sector IT projects.
