QA Support Analyst

Key Responsibilities:

• Analyze business and system requirements to develop comprehensive test strategies and test cases.
• Perform functional, regression, and integration testing for web and software applications.
• Utilize tools such as Quality Center and JIRA to track test execution, manage defects, and ensure transparency of QA progress.
• Work closely with Software Developers, IT Analysts, and Business Users to understand functionality, resolve issues, and ensure high-quality software delivery.
• Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies including sprint planning and daily stand-ups.
• Use SQL to validate data and perform backend testing.
• Document and maintain test plans, test cases, and test results using Excel, Word and Quality Center.
• Execute automated test scripts and support the development of new automation as needed.
• Test across different browsers and environments to ensure consistent behavior and usability.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives in test strategy and QA processes.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Strong knowledge of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and QA methodologies.
• Familiarity with Agile and Scrum development frameworks.
• Hands-on experience with test management and defect tracking tools such as Quality Center and JIRA.
• Proficient in SQL for data validation and back-end testing.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for requirement interpretation and reporting.
• Experience writing and executing detailed test cases and test scripts.
• Ability to work collaboratively with technical and non-technical teams.
• Experience with Excel and Word for documentation and analysis.
• Familiarity with different web browsers and cross-browser-based testing.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with automated testing tools and frameworks . (e.g. Playwright, ReadyAPI, Test Complete, JMeter)
• Experience testing financial applications or portfolio management systems is a plus.
• Exposure to CI/CD tools and practices.
• Basic knowledge of scripting languages or programming for automation support.
