Position: Hybrid, Twice a week

Job Description

We are looking for an experienced QA Lead to support a Databricks/Python-based application. This is a lead-level role requiring hands-on involvement in manual testing, along with ownership of QA strategy, planning, and execution.

The ideal candidate should be comfortable working closely with business and technology teams, driving QA initiatives, and ensuring high-quality delivery across the full testing lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

Lead and drive the end-to-end QA process for Databricks/Python applications.

Define and implement QA strategy, test plans, and testing frameworks.

Work closely with business stakeholders to understand requirements and define testing needs.

Develop detailed test cases and test scenarios based on business requirements.

Perform and oversee manual testing efforts (primary focus).

Collaborate with development, data engineering, and business teams.

Manage QA metrics, reporting, and defect tracking.

Ensure full execution of the QA lifecycle including planning, testing, validation, and reporting.

Provide leadership and guidance to QA team members (if applicable).

Required Skills

✔ Strong experience in Manual Testing (Must Have)
✔ Experience in QA Strategy, Planning, and Execution
✔ Experience working with Databricks / Python / Snowflake (at least one required)
✔ Ability to build test cases, test plans, and QA documentation
✔ Strong understanding of QA lifecycle and methodologies
✔ Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills (Very Important)
✔ Experience collaborating with business and technical teams

Preferred Skills

✔ Exposure to automation testing (nice to have)
✔ Experience in data or analytics platforms
✔ Leadership or team handling experience
