QA Lead

🛠️ Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the QA team, including mentoring and performance tracking
• Define and implement test strategies, plans, and processes
• Oversee manual and automated testing activities
• Ensure product quality across functional, regression, integration, and performance testing
• Collaborate with developers, product managers, and DevOps teams
• Identify risks, track defects, and ensure timely resolution
• Drive test automation initiatives and improve QA efficiency
• Maintain test documentation and reporting metrics (KPIs, dashboards)
• Ensure adherence to quality standards and best practices
• Participate in release planning and go-live readiness

🎯 Required Skills & Qualifications

• Strong experience in software testing (manual & automation)
• Hands-on experience with tools like Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, or similar
• Knowledge of API testing tools (Postman, RestAssured)
• Familiarity with test management tools (JIRA, TestRail, Zephyr)
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices
• Strong understanding of SDLC/STLC and Agile methodologies
• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to design scalable and efficient test frameworks

⭐ Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in performance testing tools (JMeter, LoadRunner)
• Knowledge of security testing basics
• Familiarity with programming languages (Java, Python, JavaScript)
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)
• ISTQB or similar certification
