QA Engineer

Responsibilities:
·        Design and maintain automated test scripts using Playwright for web-based applications. 
·        Perform UI testing to validate layout, responsiveness, and user interactions across browsers and devices. 
·        Conduct manual and exploratory testing to identify usability issues and edge cases. 
·        Collaborate with product managers, developers, and designers to understand requirements and define test strategies. 
·        Create and maintain test plans, test cases, and test data for functional and regression testing. 
·        Participate in agile ceremonies including sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives. 
·        Analyze test results, log defects, and track them to closure using tools like Azure DevOps or similar. 
·        Contribute to continuous improvement of QA processes and automation frameworks. 
·        6–8 years of experience in software quality assurance, with a strong focus on UI and automation testing. 
·        Hands-on experience with Playwright (.Net) or similar automation tools. 
·        Solid understanding of web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) and browser behavior. 
·        Experience with test management tools and CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Azure DevOps). 
·        Familiarity with user-centric testing and accessibility standards is a plus. 
·        Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. 
·        Excellent communication and collaboration abilities. 
·        Experience testing responsive and mobile-first designs. 
·        Knowledge of API testing using tools like Postman or REST-assured. 
·        Exposure to performance testing tools is a bonus. 
·        ISTQB or other QA certifications are a plus. 
·        Prior Re-insurance domain experience. 
·        Experience with using GenAI in day-to-day activities
