QA Engineer

• Bachelors or Masters in Computer Science or equivalent.
• Experience with Insurance Data Warehouse, data and it's processes
• Strong understanding of Data Warehouse & Data Quality fundamentals.
• 3 to 5 years of experience in data warehouse development/testing.
• 3 to 5 years of experience with SQL Server and SSIS/SSAS/SSRS testing.
• Must be experienced in Data Warehousing Projects with good knowledge of ETL testing.
• Strong in SQL, RDBMS, ETL, and DW concepts.
• Experience in validating Reports/Dashboards on tools like Tableau, MS Power BI, etc.

This project is supporting their internal data warehouse (it's called Caesar)

• Top 3 Required Skills (leave blank if you don’t know) -
• MUST HAVE STRONG SQL SERVER - Making it a must-have to possess strong SQL Server experience (not Oracle, MySQL, etc.) 
• MUST have data warehousing experience and it needs to be recent.
• MUST HAVE STRONG SSIS- SSIS is the tool they are using and must have experience with SSIS ETL testing. (instead of other tools like Informatica)
• Need to make sure they have a combination of manual and automation, some of our candidates were very light in automation. Also need data quality, performance tuning, etc.
• Manager wants recent P&C experience, see prior rejections about lacking recent/relevant experience in property & casualty: BUT if they have all of the technologies listed above and they're coming from the financial services space dealing with transactional data then that could also be an option. 
• Cloud experience: Not a requirement but this is a highly coveted experience and will be factored in.
