QA Automation Tester

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain automation test scripts for web and/or API applications
• Execute automated and manual test cases to ensure product quality
• Develop and enhance test automation frameworks
• Identify, document, and track defects using defect management tools
• Collaborate with developers, product owners, and business analysts
• Perform regression, functional, integration, and performance testing
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines
• Analyze test results and provide actionable insights
• Ensure adherence to QA standards and best practices

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Strong experience in test automation tools such as Selenium, Cypress, or Playwright
• Proficiency in programming languages like Java, Python, or JavaScript
• Experience with API testing tools (Postman, RestAssured, etc.)
• Solid understanding of software testing lifecycle (STLC) and SDLC
• Experience with test frameworks (TestNG, JUnit, Mocha, etc.)
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, etc.)
• Familiarity with version control systems (Git)
• Strong knowledge of SQL for database validation

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with BDD frameworks (Cucumber, SpecFlow)
• Exposure to performance testing tools (JMeter, LoadRunner)
• Experience testing in Agile/Scrum environments
• Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) is a plus
• Experience with containerization tools (Docker) is a plus
