Job Description
- Analyze requirements and design detailed test cases and test procedures based on requirement specifications
- Test new applications and perform repeatable testing for existing products
- Ensure all product releases meet or exceed defined quality goals
- Participate in iterative development and release management within an Agile Scrum environment
- Collaborate with business analysts, development teams, and internal stakeholders to ensure customer requirements are met
- Attend design reviews and user meetings as required
- Document test cases, test results, and defects clearly and accurately
- Execute test plans and continually analyze test coverage for completeness
- Perform system integration, functional, volume, user interface, and performance testing on enhancements and modifications prior to production releases
- Perform both manual and automated testing
- Create, maintain, and execute automated test scripts
- Analyze automated test results, troubleshoot failures, and update scripts as needed
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
- 5+ years of experience in Software Quality Assurance with a focus on web-based application testing
- 3+ years of experience with Windows operating systems and applications
- 5+ years of experience writing test cases and test plans
- 5+ years of experience using QA testing tools such as:
- Azure DevOps / TFS
- Selenium WebDriver with C#
- Postman
- SQL-related tools
- 3+ years of experience in UI and API functional testing using tools such as Selenium WebDriver with C#
- Strong experience working in an Agile Scrum development environment
- Proven ability to perform:
- Functional testing
- Regression testing
- System-level integration testing
- End-to-end testing
- Acceptance testing
- Solid understanding of SQL or PL/SQL and relational database concepts
- In-depth knowledge of software development processes, methodologies, and documentation standards
- Experience with version control systems and defect tracking tools
- Ability to manage multiple projects and tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
- Experience gathering, analyzing, and presenting defect metrics to management through verbal and written reports
