Project Manager – DataOps

Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Project Manager – DataOps to lead and manage data-driven initiatives, ensuring seamless integration of DevOps practices within data engineering workflows. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in project management along with hands-on exposure to DataOps, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud-based data platforms.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead end-to-end project management for DataOps and data engineering initiatives
• Manage planning, execution, and delivery of data pipeline and ETL projects
• Collaborate with data engineers, DevOps teams, and business stakeholders
• Drive adoption of DataOps best practices and CI/CD methodologies
• Oversee development and optimization of data pipelines and workflows
• Monitor project timelines, risks, and deliverables
• Ensure quality, scalability, and reliability of data solutions
• Facilitate Agile ceremonies and ensure timely sprint delivery

Required Skills:

• 8+ years of experience in Project Management (preferably in data or cloud projects)
• Strong understanding of DataOps and DevOps principles
• Experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, Git, etc.)
• Hands-on exposure to data pipelines and ETL processes
• Experience with Informatica or similar ETL tools
• Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies
