Job Description
To drive the end-to-end delivery of high-quality mobile releases across the Intuit ecosystem. You will orchestrate complex, cross-functional engineering efforts to ensure that our iOS and Android applications are released with high predictability, speed, and safety while navigating the strict requirements of the Apple App Store and Google Play Store.
Key Responsibilities
- Release Lifecycle Orchestration: Own the mobile release calendar and manage the "train" model for multiple concurrent app releases. Ensure every feature meets the "Definition of Done" before code freeze.
- Cross-functional Alignment: Act as the primary bridge between Product Management, iOS/Android Engineering, QA/QE, and App Store Compliance teams.
- Risk & Dependency Management: Identify "blockers" in the CI/CD pipeline. Manage complex dependencies across shared horizontal layers (e.g., Identity, AI foundations, and Common UI components).
- App Store Operations: Manage submissions via App Store Connect and Google Play Console. Navigate certification timelines, metadata requirements, and rejection remediation.
- Post-Launch & Live Ops: Lead "Go/No-Go" reviews. Oversee hotfix procedures for critical production issues and manage staged rollouts (phased releases).
- Process Automation: Partner with DevOps to evolve the mobile CI/CD pipeline (using tools like Bitrise, Fastlane, or Jenkins) to reduce manual intervention.
Technical Requirements & Qualifications
- Experience: 7+ years in Technical Program Management or Release Engineering, with at least 3 years specifically focused on Mobile (iOS/Android).
- Domain Expertise: Deep understanding of the mobile SDLC, including branch management (Gitflow), beta testing (TestFlight/Firebase), and binary signing.
- Compliance Knowledge: Familiarity with Intuit-specific platform requirements (e.g., OAuth 2.0, data privacy/GDPR, and accessibility standards).
- Tools: Proficiency with Jira, Confluence, and mobile-specific deployment tools (App Store Connect, Google Play Console).
- AI Integration (New for 2026): Experience managing the release of AI-native mobile features (LLM integrations, SageMaker-backed features) and monitoring their performance in production.
Preferred Soft Skills
- Boundaryless Mindset: Ability to drive results in a highly matrixed organization without direct authority over engineering resources.
- High Empathy: Understanding the pressures of tax season (TurboTax) or financial year-ends (QuickBooks) and managing release freezes accordingly.
• Communication: Ability to translate complex technical "blockers" into business impact for executive stakeholders.
