Power Electronics Test Engineer

• Set up and operate test equipment such as oscilloscopes, power analyzers, and thermal chambers
• Troubleshoot and diagnose hardware and system-level issues
• Validate designs against industry standards and specifications
• Collaborate with design, R&D, and manufacturing teams
• Automate testing processes using scripting or programming tools
• Ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Power Electronics, or related field
• 3+ years of experience in power electronics testing or validation
• Strong understanding of power electronics fundamentals (DC-DC, AC-DC, inverters)
• Hands-on experience with lab instruments (oscilloscopes, multimeters, power supplies)
• Knowledge of control systems and embedded systems basics
• Experience with data analysis tools (MATLAB, Python, or LabVIEW)
• Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in electric vehicles (EV), renewable energy, or industrial power systems
• Familiarity with standards such as IEC, UL, or ISO
• Knowledge of PCB design and hardware debugging
• Experience with Hardware-in-the-Loop (HIL) testing
• Understanding of thermal and EMI/EMC testing
