๐ฏ Key Responsibilities
Provide 24x7 production support, including shifts, on-call, and weekend coverage as needed.
Manage production incidents, resolve system outages, and ensure SLAs are met.
Collaborate with internal teams and vendors for change and release management.
Conduct Disaster Recovery / Business Continuity testing and validation.
Review, code, test, and document technical changes and support activities.
Drive cross-team testing, troubleshoot issues, and mentor junior staff.
๐ ๏ธ Required Skills
5+ years of experience in software engineering, production support, or related.
Strong hands-on with ServiceNow for Incident/Change/Problem management.
Proficient in Mainframe tech: COBOL, JCL, DB2, CICS, CHANGEMAN, NDM.
Understanding of REST/SOAP APIs and integrations.
Exposure to SRE concepts and tools: Splunk, AppDynamics, SiteScope, ThousandEyes.
Familiarity with Agile & SDLC tools: JIRA, Confluence, SharePoint.
๐ Desired Skills
Knowledge of stock trading & brokerage systems: trade execution, settlement, securities lending.
Experience with ZEKE (mainframe scheduler).
Exposure to DevOps tools: Jenkins, Harness, Azure DevOps, GitHub, YAML, JSON.
Cloud experience with PCF, RedHat OCP, or Azure platforms.
Strong vendor management skills and coordination capabilities.
