Platform Engineer

Job Title – Platform Engineer
Location – Dallas, TX
Job Type – W2 Contract

Job Description:
Responsible for installing, configuring and maintaining servers. This includes tasks like setting up hardware, installing operating systems, managing network settings and ensuring the servers run smoothly.
•             Experience in managing on-prem and cloud deployments (AWS)
•             Familiarity with vendor tool automation in Windows/Linux both on prem and cloud
•             Experience in install automation/scripting: Python, Power Shell, Ansible, Terraform, etc.
•             Automation and management of repeatable builds/silent installs
•             Experience with administration of one or more (more than one preferred) BI Tools: Tableau, Power BI, Alteryx, Qlik Sense
•             Automation of monitoring and alerting
•             Troubleshooting/investigation of performance and product outages
•             Ability to work with the vendor to troubleshoot issues
•             (Preferred) Experience with SaaS BI Tools (Power BI/Tableau Cloud), integration and management of bridge/tunneling components
