Perl Developer

Required Skills:

8+ years of strong experience in Unix/Linux commands and shell scripting.
Proficiency in Perl programming.
Hands-on experience with SFTP/FTP protocols and automation.
Good understanding of system security concepts (SSH keys, file permissions, encryption).
Experience debugging and performance tuning in Unix environments.
Knowledge of cron jobs, batch processing, and job scheduling. 
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain Perl scripts for automation, data processing, and system integration.
Work extensively in Unix/Linux environments for application development, deployment, and troubleshooting.
Design and manage secure file transfer processes using SFTP.
Implement and enforce security best practices for data transmission and system access.
Monitor, debug, and optimize batch jobs and shell scripts.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams for system enhancements and issue resolution.
Manage file permissions, user access, and system-level security controls.
Perform log analysis and troubleshoot production issues.
Document technical designs, processes, and operational procedures.
