Job Title: Performance Tester
Location: Weehawken, NJ 07064 (5 days per week onsite)

Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Performance Tester to design, execute, and analyze load, stress, and scalability tests. The ideal candidate will ensure our software applications meet stringent speed and stability requirements under peak load conditions. You will be responsible for scripting test scenarios, monitoring system resources, identifying performance bottlenecks, and collaborating with development teams to optimize application performance.
Key Responsibilities:
•    Test Strategy & Design: Develop comprehensive performance test plans, scenarios, and scripts based on business and technical requirements.
•    Execution: Conduct load, stress, endurance (soak), and spike tests using industry-standard tools (JMeter, LoadRunner, Gatling, K6).
•    Analysis & Reporting: Analyze test results to pinpoint performance bottlenecks (e.g., slow response times, high resource utilization) and generate detailed reports with actionable insights.
•    Collaboration: Work closely with developers, QA engineers, and DevOps teams to troubleshoot issues and recommend performance optimizations.
•    Monitoring: Track and analyze infrastructure metrics (CPU, memory, disk I/O, database queries) during test execution to correlate application performance with system health.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
•    Experience: 8+ years of experience in performance testing.
•    Performance Testing Tools: Expert-level proficiency with performance testing tools such as JMeter, LoadRunner, or K6.
•    Scripting: Strong scripting skills for test development and data manipulation (Python, Shell, JavaScript).
•    Architectural Knowledge: Deep understanding of web protocols (HTTP/HTTPS), REST APIs, and microservices-based architectures.
•    Monitoring & Observability: Familiarity with application performance monitoring (APM) and observability tools such as Dynatrace, New Relic, or Splunk.
•    Analytical Skills: Exceptional ability to analyze complex data, interpret application and server logs, and identify the root cause of performance issues.
