Performance Test Engineer

Role Title: Performance Test Engineer

Location: Austin, TX – Onsite 5 days

Duration: 6 Months Contract

Onsite in Austin, TX, Candidates must have an Austin area home address 7 days prior to start date and must be available to come to office all days

Role Description:

Required Skills: OpenText Load Runner, Splunk, Java, SQL, Dynatrace , JIRA

• 4+ years experience in creating performance test scripts using LoadRunner Web (HTTP/HTML), Web Services (SOAP/REST), Truclient protocols

• Expertise with creating load test models & then implementing scenarios using Performance center/LRE

• Experience in monitoring load tests, debugging issues, performing root cause analysis for performance issues and creating dashboards using Dynatrace and Splunk APM tools

• Experience on key software systems performance metrics & understanding of technical architecture

• Experience in writing basic to SQLs to extract test data and debug issues using Oracle DB

• Sound Knowledge to Java programming language and associated frameworks like Springboot, hibernate etc.

• Ability Profiling Java code, analyzing thread dump and heap dump, good understanding of Java memory management components

Preferred Skills - Able to work independently with little guidance from senior members of the team

• Experience working in an agile delivery projects

• Exposure to project management tools like JIRA, JAMA Responsibilities : Create performance test scripts using LoadRunner Web (HTTP/HTML), Web Services (SOAP/REST), Truclient protocols
