Performance Engineer

Analyze, visualize, and interpret performance data for end-to-end system evaluation.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance application performance using modern testing and monitoring tools.
Required Qualifications:
5+ years of proven hands-on experience in performance engineering with exposure to SAP or similar packaged products/DBs.
Expertise in DB performance tuning and engineering with in-depth knowledge of SQL query optimization and stored procedures.
Proven experience with performance testing tools such as LoadRunner Enterprise, Apache JMeter, SoapUI, and Postman.
Proficient in one or more programming languages (Python, Perl, ABAP, Java, C++).
Strong analytical skills encompassing data analysis, visualization, and comprehensive performance evaluation.
Hands-on experience working with service-oriented architectures (SOA) and RESTful APIs.
Skilled in using monitoring and profiling tools like Dynatrace, AppDynamics, and other performance tools.
Good to Have:
Expertise in performance optimization of complex applications built on SAP HANA.
Familiarity with SAP BTP components (API Management, SAP Integration Suite, Conversational AI, Data Intelligence) and AWS storage services.
Experience with application and database performance monitoring via SAP HANA DB cockpit and SAP BTP cockpit.
Solid understanding of relational and in-memory databases, as well as algorithms (including Big-O notation).
Experience with code management using Git and familiarity with Agile or Scrum methodologies.
