🚨 Now Hiring: Senior Oracle Financial Specialist – RIDOT (Providence, RI) 🚨

The Rhode Island Department of Transportation (RIDOT) is seeking a Senior Oracle Financial Specialist to lead and support its Oracle R12 Financial Management System (FMS). This is a full-time, on-site role with a 35-hour work week, reporting directly to the Agency IT Manager.

🔑 Key Responsibilities:

• Lead enhancements and support for Oracle R12 FMS modules (GL, AP, PO, AR, Grants, HRMS, OTL, Inventory).
• Develop and maintain bridge integrations between Oracle FMS and Workday ERP.
• Design, develop, and deliver custom solutions using SQL, PL/SQL, Oracle Forms/Reports, BI Publisher, and more.
• Collaborate with IT teams, DBAs, and functional users to optimize processes and reporting.
• Support 800+ timecard users and multiple financial stakeholders across RIDOT.
• Drive project planning, risk management, and delivery of new Oracle EBS initiatives.

🎯 Required Experience & Skills:

• 10+ years of Oracle EBS R12.2.x technical and functional expertise (60% technical / 40% functional).
• Strong background in Procure-to-Pay, General Ledger (SLA), Grants, Projects, HRMS, and OTL.
• Hands-on experience with Oracle integrations for Workday.
• Proficiency in SQL, PL/SQL, UNIX Shell Scripting, Oracle Applications Framework, XML/BI Publisher, and Oracle Database 11g/12c.
• Ability to prepare test plans, user guides, and manage defect tracking.

✨ Preferred (not required): OBIEE Reports experience.
