Role Overview

Governs the full data migration lifecycle for the program — from extraction strategy through trial loads, cutover loads, and post-go-live reconciliation. An environment includes 29 legal entities, 46 operating units, 115 ledgers, 78 warehouses, and approximately 720,000 GL code combinations across 25 countries. Converting this volume cleanly across six global rollout waves, with SOX-compliant audit trails and business data owner sign-off at every stage, is one of the most operationally complex tracks on the program.

What You Will Do

— Conversion strategy: Own the data conversion strategy across all data domains — GL, AR, AP, Fixed Assets, Inventory, Purchase Orders, Items, Customers, Suppliers, and Projects; define entity-level dependency sequencing.

— Trial loads: Lead three formal trial loads with live HID data; produce validation reports covering GL, AP/AR, Fixed Asset NBV, Inventory, Intercompany, and Projects for each trial; obtain business data owner sign-off before and after each load.

— Data delivery: Oversee offshore conversion specialists executing FBDI template loads; set quality standards for transformation scripts and reconciliation reports; resolve data quality issues before each trial load.

— Cutover planning: Own the data cutover plan for Wave 1 and each of six global rollout waves; manage cutover rehearsals; confirm all loads and reconciliations complete before go/no-go.

— Audit and control: Maintain audit trail for all trial and cutover loads; enforce dual sign-off controls preventing any write to production without business data owner authorization.

— Business engagement: Engage Finance, Supply Chain, and IT teams to secure business data owner participation at each trial load stage.

What Good Looks Like

— Three trial loads completed on schedule with full validation reports produced for each.

— Cutover load for Wave 1 completed within the cutover window with zero post-go-live data-related critical incidents.

— Business data owner sign-off obtained for all data domains before each production load.

— All data domains reconciled within approved tolerance before each wave go-live.

What You Need to Have Done Before

— 15+ years of Oracle ERP data migration with hands-on Oracle Fusion FBDI and HDL experience.

— Prior lead data conversion role on a large EBS-to-Fusion migration program.

— Strong understanding of SOX controls around data conversion, dual sign-off, and audit trail requirements.

— Experience with multi-entity, multi-currency, multi-ledger conversion scenarios across Finance and Supply Chain domains.
