Job Title: Oracle Fusion CPQ Functional Lead

Location: Austin, TX | Onsite

Duration: 24+ Months Contract

 

Role Overview

Responsible for design, configuration, and go-live of Oracle Fusion Configure-Price-Quote (CPQ) for — covering channel partner pricing rules, deal registration, product configurator setup, and Salesforce CRM integration. Replaces FPX (discontinued) and integrates with Salesforce for quote generation and Fusion Order Management for order execution.

 

What You Will Do

— CPQ configuration: Own Oracle Fusion CPQ configuration including product configurator, pricing rules, channel partner pricing matrices, deal registration, and approval workflows.

— Salesforce integration: Design and govern the Salesforce-to-CPQ integration for quote creation and CRM synchronization; work with Integration PM and offshore OIC developers to deliver and test.

— FPX retirement: Manage FPX decommission; confirm no active quotes or pricing rules require migration; validate all pricing rules are recreated in Fusion CPQ before FPX is retired.

— Channel pricing: Design channel partner pricing structure in Fusion CPQ; validate pricing logic with HID Sales Operations; confirm deal registration workflows match channel partner agreement terms.

— Order Management alignment: Confirm CPQ-to-Fusion OM quote-to-order flow with the O2C Lead; validate order import logic; test end-to-end quote-to-cash in system and user acceptance testing.

— Training: Design and deliver CPQ training for Sales Operations and channel partner management teams before Wave 1 go-live.

 

What Good Looks Like

— FPX decommissioned cleanly with all active pricing rules validated in Fusion CPQ before retirement.

— Salesforce-CPQ integration tested and signed off before building complete milestone.

— End-to-end quote-to-cash (Salesforce → CPQ → Order Management → AR) validated in UAT with HID Sales Operations sign-off.

— CPQ training delivered to all Sales Operations users before Wave 1 go-live.

 

What You Need to Have Done Before

— 15+ years of Oracle ERP with at least 3 years in Oracle Fusion CPQ hands-on configuration.

— Salesforce-Oracle CPQ integration experience.

— Channel pricing, deal registration, and partner program management knowledge.

— Experience retiring legacy CPQ tools (FPX or similar) and migrating to Oracle Fusion CPQ preferred.
