We’re looking for an experienced Oracle ERP DBA to support a major public sector client — the Department of Medical Assistance Services (DMAS) in Richmond.
📍 Location: Must be within 2 hours of Richmond, VA
💻 Work Mode: Mostly Remote + occasional on-site meetings/events
🗓 Interview: In-person only

🔎 About the Role
This position supports the DMAS accounting system, Oracle EBS (GL/AP/AR), 25 Oracle APEX apps, and Oracle databases. You’ll handle upgrades, patching, deployments, troubleshooting, and cloud migration initiatives.
💼 Key Responsibilities
✔ Oracle Database Administration (v19) & system support
✔ Manage Oracle E-Business Suite R12 in Linux environments
✔ Support Oracle APEX (v21 & v24) apps and deployments
✔ Perform quarterly security patching, upgrades & troubleshooting
✔ Manage database jobs, service requests, and routine data loads
✔ Assist with migration from on-prem PCA to Oracle Cloud Infrastructure
✔ Create technical documentation & provide effort estimates
✔ Support SDLC (Waterfall & Agile) processes

• Oracle DB Admin (19c) & RDBMS best practices
• Oracle EBS System Administration
• Oracle APEX deployment & workflow experience
• SQL / PL-SQL scripting
• Linux & Windows OS support
• Database upgrades, patching & performance troubleshooting
• Strong communication & ability to work independently
