Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Oracle Cloud Revenue Management (RMCS) Functional Consultant to support implementation and production activities. The role focuses on requirement gathering, system configuration, integrations, testing, and ongoing production support to ensure system stability, revenue accuracy, and audit readiness.
Key Responsibilities
Implementation & Functional Design
- Conduct business workshops and walkthrough sessions to gather requirements and translate business needs into functional design documents.
- Configure Oracle Cloud RMCS, including understanding system configurations, SSP upload processes, and FBDI (File-Based Data Import) file preparation.
- Collaborate with technical and upstream system teams on integration design and data mapping between RMCS and source systems.
Testing & Knowledge Transfer
- Prepare detailed test scripts and support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) activities.
- Conduct training and knowledge transfer sessions for end users and business stakeholders.
Production Support Responsibilities
- Provide L2/L3 functional support in a production environment to maintain system stability and audit readiness.
- Troubleshoot functional issues related to journal entries, accounting rules, and financial reporting, including root cause analysis and resolution.
- Perform regular validation of revenue schedules and accounting entries to ensure accuracy during month-end and quarter-end close cycles.
- Support internal and external audits by maintaining audit trails and providing required documentation.
- Test and validate quarterly Oracle Cloud patches and upgrades to ensure existing configurations remain intact.
- Gather requirements for system enhancements and participate in proof-of-concept (POC) initiatives.
Required Skills & Experience
- Strong functional experience with Oracle Cloud Revenue Management (RMCS)
- Hands-on experience with revenue accounting, SSPs, and revenue schedules
- Experience supporting month-end and quarter-end close activities
- Ability to work closely with business, technical, and audit teams
- Strong analytical, documentation, and communication skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Oracle Cloud financial integrations
- Prior involvement in audits and compliance-related activities
- Experience supporting production environments with L2/L3 responsibilities
