Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced Oracle APEX Developer to support the modernization of a financial system. The ideal candidate will have strong experience developing web-based applications using Oracle as the backend, along with deep expertise in Oracle Database, SQL, PL/SQL, and Oracle APEX. The role involves designing, developing, testing, and maintaining enterprise applications while collaborating with cross-functional teams.
This position requires strong technical, analytical, and troubleshooting skills, along with the ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously.
Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain web-based applications using Oracle APEX.
Develop and optimize Oracle SQL and PL/SQL code for application functionality and performance.
Work with Oracle Database (11g/12c/18c) environments.
Build dynamic web interfaces using HTML, JavaScript, and jQuery.
Conduct feasibility studies and requirements analysis for new application enhancements.
Prepare functional and system specifications for development tasks.
Design data models, application architecture, and system integrations.
Develop complex application code and perform unit testing and system testing.
Troubleshoot and resolve application issues in development and production environments.
Support software installations, upgrades, and environment changes.
Assess the impact of software upgrades and system changes on applications.
Maintain documentation for application development and support processes.
Participate in code reviews, change management, and CI/CD processes.
Required Skills
7+ years of experience with Oracle Database (11g/12c/18c).
Strong expertise in SQL and PL/SQL programming.
Hands-on experience with Oracle APEX development.
Experience developing true web applications using Oracle as backend.
Proficiency in HTML, JavaScript, and jQuery.
Experience with Git, CI/CD pipelines, and version control systems.
Strong troubleshooting and debugging skills.
Experience with application testing and deployment.
Knowledge of change management processes.
