Network Security Engineer

• Manage access control, identity, and authentication systems
• Collaborate with IT and security teams to mitigate risks
• Perform security audits and ensure compliance (e.g., SOC 2, ISO 27001)
• Stay updated on emerging threats and security technologies

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, IT, or related field
• 4+ years of experience in network security or cybersecurity roles
• Strong knowledge of networking protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, VPN, SSL/TLS)
• Hands-on experience with firewalls (Cisco, Palo Alto, Fortinet, etc.)
• Experience with IDS/IPS, SIEM, and monitoring tools
• Understanding of security frameworks and standards
• Familiarity with Linux/Unix and Windows environments

Preferred Qualifications

• Certifications such as CISSP, CEH, CISM, or CCNP Security
• Experience with cloud security (AWS, Azure, GCP)
• Knowledge of Zero Trust architecture
• Familiarity with scripting (Python, Bash) for automation
• Experience with endpoint security and threat intelligence tools
