Job Description

Job Title: Network Infrastructure Project Manager (Level 2)

Location: Los Angeles, CA 
Work Schedule: 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM PST
Minimum Relevant Experience: 5 years
 

Job Overview

The Network Infrastructure Project Manager will manage the installation, construction, and upgrade of low-voltage IT systems, including but not limited to:

  • Local Area Networks (LAN)
  • Wireless networks
  • VoIP systems
  • IP Public Address/Intercom systems
  • IP Video Camera systems

The work will be performed in large campus, school, or government environments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Create, review, and monitor project schedules.
  • Review and approve Statements of Work (SOW), project designs, and Bills of Material (BOM).
  • Manage and coordinate project resources effectively.
  • Gather and analyze data to assist in the creation of project budgets.
  • Prepare and review time management plans, schedules, and recovery schedules to meet contract requirements.
  • Prepare project plans and reports regarding progress, issues, and resolutions.
  • Conduct site visits and meetings with customers and stakeholders.
  • Read and interpret design documentation, plans, and specifications.
  • Collect, analyze, and interpret statistical and budgetary information.
  • Track and maintain project expenditures and job tickets.
  • Prepare critical path schedules.
  • Generate status emails regarding project completion.
  • Maintain effective relationships with district personnel and other organizations.
  • Formulate and express ideas clearly and effectively, both orally and in writing.
  • Set priorities and complete tasks in a timely manner.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in IT network infrastructure projects.
  • Strong project management and coordination skills.
  • Proficiency in managing large-scale network installations and upgrades.
  • Ability to review technical documentation, SOWs, BOMs, and budgets.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to conduct site visits and collaborate with multiple stakeholders.
