Network Engineer

• Collaborate with IT and security teams to implement network solutions
• Perform network upgrades, patching, and capacity planning
• Maintain documentation of network architecture and configurations
• Support disaster recovery and business continuity planning

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field
• 3+ years of experience in network engineering or administration
• Strong knowledge of networking concepts (TCP/IP, OSI model, routing, switching)
• Hands-on experience with networking hardware (Cisco, Juniper, etc.)
• Experience with firewalls and network security technologies
• Familiarity with monitoring tools (SolarWinds, Wireshark, Nagios)
• Understanding of VPNs, VLANs, and subnetting
• Experience with Linux/Windows server environments

Preferred Qualifications

• Certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, or CompTIA Network+
• Experience with cloud networking (AWS, Azure, GCP)
• Knowledge of SDN (Software-Defined Networking)
• Familiarity with automation tools (Python, Ansible)
