Role Overview

We are seeking a highly experienced Network Engineer / Lead to drive global network architecture, governance, and execution. This role involves working closely with infrastructure architects and cross-functional teams to design, implement, and oversee enterprise-scale network solutions aligned with business and IT strategy.

Key Responsibilities

• Define and govern global network architecture aligned with industry best practices
• Lead and support complex network transformation initiatives
• Ensure high levels of security, performance, scalability, and reliability across network infrastructure
• Provide L3/L4 escalation support for critical incidents
• Drive network standardization and governance across global teams
• Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure alignment with strategic IT objectives
• Oversee project execution, dependencies, and compliance requirements
• Maintain high-quality technical documentation and knowledge base
• Support vendor management and participate in strategic planning

Technical Expertise Required

• SD-WAN (VeloCloud)
• Palo Alto Firewall Architecture
• Azure Networking (ExpressRoute, VPNs, VNets)
• Enterprise Routing & Switching (BGP, OSPF)
• Network Architecture Design (HLD/LLD)
• Strong experience in global enterprise network environments

Additional Technical Areas

• WAN routing design and telecom architecture
• Cloud networking & connectivity
• VPN / ExpressRoute architecture
• Network security platforms (e.g., Prisma, FortiManager)
• Disaster Recovery & Business Continuity
• Monitoring, reporting, and capacity planning
• Automation and scripting
• Virtualization and hypervisor networking
• Public IP management and compliance reporting

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field (or equivalent experience)
• 10+ years of senior-level network engineering/architecture experience
• Experience in manufacturing or similar industry preferred
• Strong background in cloud networking and IT/OT segmentation
• Relevant certifications (preferred but not mandatory)
