Network Automation Engineer

Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Network Automation Engineer to join our team and drive automation initiatives within a dynamic network infrastructure environment. The ideal candidate will bring strong scripting expertise, deep networking knowledge, and the ability to deliver automation solutions across a global enterprise.
Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain network automation solutions using Ansible and/or Python.
Build infrastructure-based scripts leveraging YAML and JSON.
Integrate APIs and automation tools including REST, OpenConfig, gNMI, Git, CI/CD (Jenkins/GitLab).
Work with Arista switches and CloudVision Portal (CVP) in VXLAN, BGP, and EVPN environments.
Apply automation design patterns, enforce security controls, and adhere to SDLC best practices.
Collaborate across teams while managing multiple competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Required Skills & Experience
5–7 years of experience in network infrastructure and automation.
Strong expertise in Ansible and/or Python scripting.
Proficiency with REST APIs, Git, Jenkins/GitLab, Linux.
Knowledge of VXLAN, BGP, EVPN networking concepts.
Hands-on experience with Arista switches and CloudVision Portal (CVP).
Familiarity with Itential (preferred).
Soft Skills
Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills (written and verbal).
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Comfortable working as part of a global, cross-functional team.
