Job Summary:
Oracle DBA – GoldenGate Focus
We are seeking a highly skilled Oracle GoldenGate-focused Sr. Database Architect to support mission-critical enterprise data replication, database administration, and cloud integration initiatives.
This role heavily emphasizes GoldenGate engineering, real-time data replication, and high-availability operations across on-premise and cloud platforms, including integration with Google Cloud Storage (GCS) and BigQuery.
The candidate will also support Oracle database environments and participate in a scheduled 24x7 on-call rotation.

Key Responsibilities:
• Lead deployment, administration, tuning, and troubleshooting of Oracle GoldenGate (19.x / 21.x) in large-scale production environments
• Configure and manage GoldenGate Extract, Pump, and Replicat processes (uni- & bi-directional replication)
• Design and maintain full-load + CDC pipelines from Oracle to GCS and BigQuery (Avro/Parquet/JSON ingestion, MERGE operations)
• Support Zero-Downtime Migration (ZDM) and GoldenGate high-availability architectures
• Administer Oracle databases (11gR2, 12c, 19c) including RAC, ASM/ACFS, Grid Infrastructure
• Work with ZDLRA (Zero Data Loss Recovery Appliance) for backup & recovery strategies
• Perform performance diagnostics using AWR, ASH, ADDM, trace files, logs, JVM analysis
• Configure and troubleshoot Oracle to MS SQL replication
• Support DR planning and hybrid cloud environments (On-Prem, OCI, GCP)
• Develop operational dashboards, metrics, and capacity trend analysis
• Collaborate with infrastructure, networking, cloud, and application teams
• Participate in evening/weekend on-call production support rotation

Required Experience:
• 5+ years of Oracle DBA experience in production environments
• 3+ years hands-on Oracle GoldenGate experience (19.x / 21.x)
• Strong expertise in CDC-based replication and HA architectures
• Experience delivering GoldenGate data to GCS and BigQuery
• Experience with ZDLRA, RMAN, and enterprise recovery operations
• Strong SQL/PLSQL and Linux/UNIX expertise
• Experience troubleshooting distributed data replication environments
• Strong documentation and communication skills

Preferred Skills:
• Experience with OCI GoldenGate or managed cloud replication services
• Knowledge of hybrid architectures (On-Prem, OCI, GCP)
• Participation in design discussions and continuous improvement initiatives
