Job Title: Manual Tester with SQL Experience

Job Summary

We are looking for a detail-oriented Manual Tester with strong SQL skills to join our QA team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for validating application functionality, ensuring data integrity, and working closely with developers and business analysts to deliver high-quality software solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and execute manual test cases and test scenarios
• Perform functional, regression, integration, and system testing
• Validate backend data using SQL queries
• Identify, document, and track defects using defect management tools
• Collaborate with developers and stakeholders to resolve issues
• Analyze requirements and provide feedback from a QA perspective
• Prepare test reports and maintain testing documentation
• Participate in test planning and estimation activities

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field
• 3+ years of experience in manual testing
• Strong knowledge of SQL (queries, joins, data validation)
• Experience with test case design and execution
• Familiarity with SDLC and STLC processes
• Hands-on experience with defect tracking tools (e.g., JIRA, Bugzilla)
• Good understanding of database testing concepts
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
