Job Description:
The Mainframe Operator is responsible for monitoring IBM Mainframe consoles and ensuring the performance and stability of the system environment. This role acts as a Level 1 Incident Manager, triaging critical IT incidents and validating batch processing through Job Control Language.

Responsibilities
Monitor IBM Mainframe consoles and check system performance to ensure operational stability.
Act as a Level 1 Incident Manager within an enterprise environment.
Review and validate Job Control Language (JCL) for system jobs.
Utilize Microsoft Teams in a technical support capacity for team collaboration.
Use infrastructure monitoring tools such as What’s Up Gold, Pingdom, or PRTG.
Triage critical IT incidents and manage the situation through to resolution.
Work a flexible rotation that includes holidays, afternoons, and midnight shifts.
Meet physical requirements, including lifting up to 50 pounds for assigned deliveries.
