Note: The production implementation window is on Sundays, so weekend work is a requirement, in addition to the regular Monday through Friday workdays

Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Mainframe MQ Engineer to support and maintain IBM MQ environments on z/OS and IBMi platforms within a complex enterprise infrastructure. The role is critical to ensuring the stability, performance, and efficiency of messaging services in a highly integrated production environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Administer and support IBM MQ on z/OS and IBMi platforms in production and non-production environments.
Monitor, maintain, and troubleshoot MQ queue managers, channels, and messaging infrastructure.
Ensure system stability, performance optimization, and high availability of MQ services.
Support production implementations and deployments, including required Sunday release windows.
Collaborate with application, infrastructure, and operations teams to resolve messaging issues and maintain system efficiency.
Provide incident management, problem resolution, and root cause analysis for MQ-related issues.

Required Skills:
Strong experience with IBM MQ on z/OS (Mainframe) and IBMi platforms.
Hands-on experience in MQ administration, configuration, monitoring, and troubleshooting.
Understanding of mainframe infrastructure and messaging architecture.
Experience supporting complex enterprise environments and production releases.
Ability to work weekends (Sunday production implementation window) when required.

Nice to Have:
Experience in large enterprise healthcare Domain.
Familiarity with automation, monitoring tools, and system performance tuning
