Experience 13+ years 

Required skills:
1. 5+ years of experience in mainframe applications, healthcare claims processing knowledge is preferred.
2. Analyze business requirements and translate them into technical specifications and mainframe program logic.
3. Design, develop, and maintain COBOL, JCL, CICS, DB2, and VSAM-based CA-MMIS mainframe applications.
4. Perform unit, integration, and regression testing.

An Application Developer with Mainframe Modernization expertise is well-versed in the fundamental concepts and technologies related to both mainframe systems and modernization. They possess the ability to develop code for both in-place mainframe modernization and migration of mainframe applications to cloud platforms, including z-cloud. This skillset includes supporting mainframe migration to other cloud environments. The developer is proficient in various technologies, such as COBOL systems, Java, JSON, API, Microservices, SaaS, Edge, Off-premises applications, network security, Kubernetes, DevOps, Db2, CICS, WebSphere, and MQ.
