Mainframe Development

• Perform code reviews, debugging, and performance tuning.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams for system integration and enhancements.
• Support production systems, including incident resolution and root cause analysis.
• Participate in system modernization and migration initiatives (e.g., mainframe to cloud).
• Maintain proper documentation for applications and processes.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• 4+ years of experience in mainframe development.
• Strong experience with COBOL, JCL, and CICS.
• Hands-on experience with DB2 or IMS databases.
• Familiarity with TSO/ISPF and mainframe utilities.
• Understanding of batch scheduling tools (e.g., Control-M, CA-7).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with mainframe modernization tools and strategies.
• Knowledge of APIs, web services, and integration with distributed systems.
• Familiarity with DevOps practices in mainframe environments.
• Experience with RACF security and compliance standards.
• Exposure to Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Experience in banking, insurance, or large enterprise environments.
