Mainframe Developer

We are seeking a skilled Mainframe Developer with strong expertise in legacy systems and modern integration. The ideal candidate will work on designing, developing, and maintaining mainframe applications while ensuring high performance and reliability.
🔹 Key Responsibilities
Develop, maintain, and enhance mainframe applications using COBOL, JCL, and DB2
Analyze business requirements and translate them into technical solutions
Perform code reviews, debugging, and performance tuning
Work with batch processing, online systems (CICS), and data management
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including QA and business stakeholders
Ensure system stability, scalability, and security compliance
Support production issues and provide timely resolutions
🔹 Required Skills
Strong experience in COBOL, JCL, DB2, VSAM
Hands-on experience with CICS
Knowledge of z/OS environment
Experience in debugging and performance tuning
Familiarity with SDLC and Agile methodologies
🔹 Preferred Skills
Experience with mainframe modernization tools
Exposure to APIs, cloud integration, or distributed systems
Banking/Finance domain experience is a plus
