Role Overview

We are seeking a Senior / Lead Python Developer (12–15+ years of experience) with strong Azure cloud expertise and exposure to AI technologies.

This role requires a technical leader who will remain 50% hands-on with Python development and architecture, while also leading AI-aligned software initiatives and mentoring development teams.

Candidates must come from Financial Services, Capital Markets, Investment Banking, or large Fortune-300 organizations.

Strong communication skills are essential as the candidate will collaborate with business stakeholders and engineering teams.

Key Responsibilities

* Design and build backend services, APIs, and automation tools using Python
* Develop cloud-native solutions on Microsoft Azure (App Service, Storage, Azure SQL)
* Implement AI-aligned solutions using Azure AI Foundry or similar AI services
* Lead technical architecture, planning, and code quality practices
* Conduct code reviews, testing strategies, and CI/CD implementations using Azure DevOps
* Manage multiple AI-driven software projects ensuring delivery timelines and quality
* Mentor developers and guide technical decisions across teams
* Collaborate with stakeholders, product managers, and engineering teams
* Support Agile/Scrum processes and sprint planning
* Track project delivery using Azure Boards

Required Qualifications

✔ 12–15+ years of software engineering experience
✔ Strong Python backend development expertise
✔ Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure cloud services
✔ Experience designing cloud-native architectures
✔ Experience leading engineering teams or acting as technical lead
✔ Familiarity with DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, and Azure DevOps
✔ Strong communication and stakeholder management skills

Industry Background Required
