This job posting is for an existing, active vacancy and we are looking to hire candidate with strong expertise in Mainframe technologies, including CICS, MQ, JCL, COBOL, DB2, VSAM, TWS, REXX, and IBM z/OS. They have hands‑on experience working with DXC’s Cyberlife/Vantage policy administration systems.

Job Description:

Technical skills:

• CICS, MQ, JCL, COBOL, NDM, TWS, VSAM, Endeavor, DB2 Mainframe, REXX, IBM z/OS, JES2/JES3, TSO/ISPF 
• 
   

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Experience working on Cyberlife/Vantage policy admin system - Product of DXC (formerly CSC).
• Troubleshoot programs causing abends in CICS regions and provide solutions.
• Troubleshoot batch programs recurring abends and provide solutions.
• Familiar with TWS scheduling for understanding complex application batch cycles and recovery points.
• Understand reports from mainframe infra team, identify bottle necks, provide solutions to optimize resource utilization.
• Analyze batch programs and provide solutions to reduce batch processing times and mainframe resource utilization.
• Should be able to assess third party vendor software pros and cons.
