Lead Java Fullstack Developer

Job Title: Lead Java FullStack Developer with Agentic AI and Banking/Financial experience

Location preference: Pittsburgh, PA  – 5 Days Onsite role

Duration: Long term 

Overview:

Our banking client is seeking a Lead Fullstack Developer with 10+ years of experience in enterprise application development within the banking and financial services domain. The ideal candidate will design and build secure, scalable microservices supporting core banking and payments platforms, while also contributing to frontend development using Angular.

Responsibilities:

• Develop RESTful APIs using Java, Spring Boot, and Microservices architecture
• Build and maintain responsive UI components using Angular (v10+)
• Work on payment processing, ACH, wire transfers, and transaction systems
• Implement secure coding standards aligned with financial regulations
• Integrate frontend applications with backend services
• Optimize performance and ensure high availability systems

Required Skills:

• 10+ years of experience in Java/J2EE development
• Strong experience in Spring Boot, Hibernate, Microservices
• Experience with Agentic AI
• Should have proven experience with MQ – Apache Kafka.
• 3+ years of hands-on experience with React and Angular (v10 or above preferred)
• Strong understanding of REST API integration between Angular and Java backend
• Experience with Oracle/SQL Server and MongoDB.
• Financial domain experience (Banking, Payments, Treasury) – mandatory
• Knowledge of security protocols (OAuth2, JWT, SSL)
