Lead DevOps Engineer

• Define and enforce DevOps best practices, standards, and security policies.
• Monitor system performance and reliability using tools like Prometheus and Grafana.
• Lead incident response, root cause analysis, and postmortems.
• Collaborate with development, QA, and security teams to streamline delivery pipelines.
• Mentor junior and mid-level engineers and conduct code/infrastructure reviews.
• Drive automation across build, deployment, and operational processes.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• 7+ years of experience in DevOps, SRE, or infrastructure engineering.
• Strong experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
• Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or Go.
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines and automation tools.
• Deep understanding of containerization and orchestration.
• Experience with configuration management tools (Ansible, Chef, or Puppet).
• Strong knowledge of networking, security, and system architecture.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience leading or managing DevOps teams.
• Certifications (e.g., AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, Kubernetes certifications).
• Experience with microservices and distributed systems.
• Familiarity with security best practices (DevSecOps).
• Exposure to site reliability engineering (SRE) principles.
