Lead AWS/Pyspark Developer

We are seeking a Lead AWS / PySpark Developer to drive design and development of cloud-native healthcare data applications. This is a hands-on leadership role requiring strong coding expertise, solution design capability, and healthcare domain knowledge.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead design and development of scalable applications using AWS & PySpark
• Develop high-performance data processing frameworks and reusable components
• Architect secure healthcare solutions handling EHR, Claims, and PHI data
• Ensure HIPAA-compliant application design and data security standards
• Collaborate with product owners, architects, and QA teams
• Provide technical leadership, code reviews, and mentoring

Required Skills

• 7+ years of software development experience
• 3+ years strong hands-on experience with AWS services (S3, EMR, Lambda, Glue, Redshift)
• Expert-level Python & PySpark development
• Strong understanding of distributed processing and performance tuning
• Healthcare domain experience (mandatory)
• Knowledge of HIPAA compliance and healthcare data regulations

Nice to Have

• Experience with HL7 / FHIR standards
• CI/CD and DevOps exposure
• Microservices architecture experience
