Job Summary

We are seeking a highly experienced Lead Android Developer to drive the design, development, and delivery of scalable mobile applications. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in Android development using Kotlin/Java and a strong background in leading engineering teams and building high-performance applications.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design and development of advanced Android applications.
• Architect scalable, maintainable, and high-performance mobile solutions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product, design, and backend engineering.
• Mentor and guide junior developers, ensuring best practices and coding standards.
• Drive code reviews, technical design discussions, and architecture decisions.
• Optimize application performance, responsiveness, and security.
• Integrate RESTful APIs and third-party services.
• Ensure adherence to Android development best practices and UI/UX standards.
• Manage app releases, versioning, and deployments to the Google Play Store.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve complex technical issues.

Technical Expertise

• 12+ years of total experience in mobile app development.
• 8+ years of hands-on experience in Android development using:
  • Kotlin
  • Java
• Strong knowledge of:
  • Android SDK, Android Studio, and app lifecycle
  • Android Jetpack (LiveData, ViewModel, Navigation, Room)
  • **MVVM / MVP architecture patterns
• Experience with:
  • RESTful APIs and JSON/XML parsing
  • Third-party libraries and SDK integrations
  • Unit testing and UI testing frameworks
• Strong experience with version control systems like Git
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices
