Job Description

  • 8+ years of experience programming in LabVIEW is required.
  • Minimum certification of National Instruments CLD (Certified LabVIEW Developer). Higher credential (Certified LabVIEW Architect - CLA) preferred.
  • Experience with LabVIEW RT or FPGA Modules
  • Experience with LabVIEW Vision Development Module
  • NI- Hardware Platform experience (PCI/cPCI/PXI/USB)
  • Hardware control and system internal controls
  • System Integration and troubleshooting
  • Automated test equipment, test-zig
  • Experience in development, operation or testing of large equipment
  • Experience in writing software requirements and design documentation
  • Demonstrated verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work in a team environment
  • Experience with test and measurement devices and associated APIs
  • Experience in full software development life cycle for medical devices
  • Fluent in Windows API, DLLs, and interfaces is preferred

Roles & Responsibilities

 

 

  • Design, develop, integrate and test software applications for medical devices
  • Design and develop automated test equipment using LabVIEW and NI hardware
  • Software and System troubleshooting and root cause analysis
  • Develop and test software algorithms
  • Adhere to best-practices in software development life cycle

 

 

Generic Managerial Skills, If any

 

  • Must have very good written and verbal communication skills.
  • Customer support experience preferred.
  • Ability to multitask, including ability to understand customer requirements, retrieve relevant information, and provide responses satisfactorily and with immediacy is required.
  • Employee must be able to effectively prioritize and manage multiple activities and responsibilities.
  • Ability to function in a team environment and deliver on team objectives is required.
