Kubernetes Engineer

Key Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and manage Kubernetes clusters for production environments
• Build and maintain containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes
• Implement CI/CD pipelines for automated deployment and delivery
• Manage cluster scaling, monitoring, logging, and performance optimization
• Configure Ingress, Load Balancing, Service Mesh, and networking policies
• Implement security best practices including RBAC, Secrets Management, and Policy Enforcement
• Automate infrastructure provisioning using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools
• Work with Helm charts for application deployment and version management
• Troubleshoot cluster issues, pod failures, networking problems, and resource bottlenecks
• Collaborate with Developers, DevOps Engineers, Cloud Architects, and SRE teams
• Ensure disaster recovery, backup strategies, and high availability architecture
• Optimize cloud costs and resource utilization

Required Skills

Technical Skills

• Strong hands-on experience with Kubernetes
• Experience with Docker and containerization
• Knowledge of Helm, Kustomize, and Kubernetes deployment strategies
• Strong understanding of CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or Argo CD
• Experience with cloud platforms like Amazon Web Services, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud
• Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code tools like Terraform or Ansible
• Understanding of Linux system administration and shell scripting
• Experience with monitoring tools like Prometheus, Grafana, and ELK Stack
• Knowledge of networking concepts, DNS, ingress controllers, and service discovery
• Familiarity with security practices such as RBAC, Network Policies, and Secret Management
