Kong Developer

💼 Key Responsibilities
✅ Design, develop, and manage Kong API Gateway configurations, plugins, and routing
✅ Build and integrate RESTful APIs and microservices using .NET Core / .NET 6+
✅ Manage API lifecycle including authentication, authorization, traffic control, monitoring, and versioning
✅ Collaborate with architecture, DevOps, product, and QA teams to deliver scalable solutions
✅ Optimize application performance and ensure high availability
✅ Develop frontend components using Angular / React / Blazor
✅ Implement API security best practices (OAuth2, JWT, mTLS, API keys)
✅ Troubleshoot API gateway, integration, and application issues
✅ Work with CI/CD pipelines and cloud platforms (Azure / AWS / GCP)
✅ Document API contracts, technical designs, and best practices

🧠 Required Skills & Qualifications
✔️ 3–6 years of overall software development experience
✔️ Strong hands-on experience with Kong API Gateway (or Apigee, AWS API Gateway, MuleSoft)
✔️ Proficiency in C#, .NET Core / .NET 6+, Web API, Entity Framework
✔️ Experience with frontend frameworks (Angular, React, or Blazor)
✔️ Strong understanding of microservices architecture
✔️ Experience with Docker and Kubernetes
✔️ Solid knowledge of RESTful API design and API-first development
✔️ Familiarity with CI/CD tools (Azure DevOps, Jenkins, GitHub Actions)
✔️ Experience with SQL/NoSQL databases (SQL Server, MongoDB, PostgreSQL)
✔️ Cloud experience (Azure preferred, AWS/GCP a plus)
✔️ Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
