Job Title – Klaviyo Developer
Location – Remote (Canada, Mexico, India)

Job Description:
Experience: 5-8 years minimum
Key responsibilities:
Template development: Build, test, and manage responsive email templates using custom HTML, CSS, and Klaviyo's proprietary templating language (based on Django/Liquid).
Modular design: Create reusable, configurable content blocks for Klaviyo's drag-and-drop editor. This allows marketing teams to easily assemble and modify emails without touching code.
Dynamic content: Implement dynamic content logic to personalize emails based on customer data, such as product feeds, customer profiles, and event-based data.
Cross-client compatibility: Ensure templates render correctly and consistently across all major email clients and devices (e.g., Gmail, Outlook, Apple Mail, mobile vs. desktop), often requiring solutions for dark mode optimization.
Flow and campaign implementation: Work with marketing teams to set up and deploy automated email sequences (flows) and campaigns using the custom templates.
A/B testing: Conduct testing on template elements, such as layout, call-to-action buttons, and personalization, to optimize for engagement and conversion.
API integration: Utilize Klaviyo's developer APIs to programmatically create, manage, and render templates.
Troubleshooting: Debug and resolve email rendering issues across different platforms
Required skills and qualifications:
Technical:
Proficiency in HTML/CSS, particularly for email development, which has different standards than web development.
Experience with Klaviyo, including its custom templating language (Liquid) and platform features.
Knowledge of email design best practices, including responsive design, accessibility, and deliverability.
