Role: Kafka Developer (Remote – Healthcare)
$50/hr C2C | 10+ yrs exp

We’re looking for a skilled Kafka Developer with strong Cassandra, REST API, and Spring Boot expertise to join our team.

What you’ll do:
Design, deploy, and maintain Apache Kafka clusters (high availability, scalability, performance)
Manage brokers, capacity planning, troubleshooting (kafka-topics, consumer-groups, JMX)
Implement SASL/SSL, ACLs, encryption, topic lifecycle, retention policies
Handle cluster upgrades, patching, documentation, and producer/consumer support
Optimize resources, set up monitoring/alerting (Prometheus, Datadog), drive DR procedures
Stay current with Kafka ecosystem (KRaft mode, emerging patterns)
