Jr. Data Engineer

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in building and maintaining ETL/ELT pipelines
• Collect, process, and clean large datasets from multiple sources
• Support data integration from APIs, databases, and third-party systems
• Write efficient queries and scripts for data extraction and transformation
• Monitor and troubleshoot data pipeline issues
• Work closely with Data Analysts, Data Scientists, and Backend teams
• Ensure data quality, consistency, and reliability
• Document workflows, data models, and processes

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or related field
• Basic knowledge of SQL and database systems (MySQL, PostgreSQL, etc.)
• Familiarity with Python or another programming language
• Understanding of data structures and algorithms (basic level)
• Knowledge of ETL concepts and data warehousing basics
• Exposure to Linux/Unix environments
• Basic understanding of cloud platforms (AWS / Azure / GCP)
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
