Java Microservices Sr Developer /Lead

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop microservices-based applications using Java
• Lead architecture discussions and define best practices for scalable systems
• Build RESTful APIs and backend services
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (UI, DevOps, QA, Product)
• Implement event-driven architectures and messaging systems
• Ensure code quality through reviews, testing, and CI/CD pipelines
• Troubleshoot performance and production issues
• Mentor junior developers and provide technical leadership

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 8–15+ years of experience in Java development
• Strong expertise in **Java, **Spring Boot, and **Spring Cloud
• Hands-on experience with microservices architecture and REST APIs
• Experience with containerization using **Docker and orchestration with **Kubernetes
• Strong knowledge of SQL and NoSQL databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB)
• Experience with message brokers like **Apache Kafka or RabbitMQ
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI)
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in system design and distributed architecture patterns
• Knowledge of Domain-Driven Design (DDD)
• Experience with API gateways and service mesh
• Familiarity with observability tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack)
• Prior experience in a lead or architect role
